About Dr. DeMaio

​Christine DeMaio, Ph.D. is a caring and experienced licensed, clinical psychologist who specializes in the evaluation and treatment of adults, adolescents, and families.  Dr. DeMaio has extensive training in empirically-supported treatments with particular emphasis on cognitive behavioral therapies (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches.  These approaches include: Behavioral Activation,  Exposure and Response Prevention (EX/RP),  Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT).

Dr. DeMaio received her doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Arkansas in 2004.  She completed her clinical internship at Yale University School of Medicine and her post-doctoral fellowship at The Center for Cognitive and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (CCDBT) in Long Island, New York.  Dr. DeMaio has been in private practice since 2011.
